TURBANS AND HEADWRAPS
It's heritage day, the celebration of South africa's diverse cultures and tribes. Many will be rocking their traditional attires with colours ranging from res, green, yellow, black and anything that represents our rainbow nation.
Ofcourse there are those like me who don't own anything related to my culture, the Xhosa's.Instead of looking plain on this day or any other day,Im gonna try look tribal or ethnic by wrapping a headscarf on my head creating a turban-like look.Turbans and headscarfs are for the bold (and ofcourse for those who don't feel like combining their hair) and trendy because it is not easy to pull off that edgey, ethnic look.
Turbans and headscarfs can be bought at almost any shop. Headscarfs are obviously normal scarfs or you can go to shop that sells material and choose the type of material you'd like to use for your headwrap.
